Just pure cuteness

So, basically everyday, Paul and I look at each other and grin in reaction to something Isaiah says or does. He's just precious beyond words. Don't get me wrong, we have our struggles. Every.single.day. But his love and cuteness outweigh all the other "fun" stuff. SO, here is a list of recent cuteness. Read it if you desire. I just need to make sure I have it down somewhere or else I won't remember something years later.

  • Paul and I lead worship at our church on Wednesday nights. We've been practicing 10,000 Reasons the last couple of days to do tonight at church. While practicing in the sanctuary tonight, when Paul started playing that song, he ran up to me and said " I have to sing!" And he did! Almost the whole chorus. Picture a two year old singing "Bwess the Word oh my soul, OH MY SOUW, worship Your Howy Name." Now try to tell me that doesn't melt your heart.
  • A couple of weeks ago, I asked Isaiah what he will say to Leland when she comes out. His reply: "Want play my trains?"
  • Tonight after praying with Isaiah before bed, I told him to tell Leland night night. He leaned in toward my belly and said "night night Wewand. Go Sweep." Then he proceeded to sing twinkle twinkle "wittle" star to her. I can't wait to see them together. He's going to be such a loving big brother.
  • He loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. On the show, when one of the characters needs help with a problem, they call "Oh Toodles!" As of late, when Isaiah needs Paul or I, he likes to say "Oh Mommy!" or "oh Daddy!"
  • He calls cough drops "coffee"
  • I asked him tonight what songs they sang in class at church. He proceeded to sing most of the first verse of Jesus Loves Me, on key.
  • He's still afraid to walk down stairs. I don't want to push him too much b/c its something that keeps him little. Plus I don't have to worry about him taking off somewhere. We're on the 3rd floor. As long as he's afraid to go down the stairs, he is stuck ;)
  • He adds words onto names of things
    • Football is "football field."
    • His Daddy takes him to the gym on campus on Saturdays to play basketball. He calls it the "Basketball goal gym."
    • His sneakers are his "basketball goal gym shoes."
    • Thomas the train is "Thomas choochoo train tracks." Everytime he asks to watch it or read it, he calls it that.
    • Anything referring to Cars(like, the movie that ironically he hasn't seen) Is called,"Lighting Queen racing car."
    • I let him watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Road Rally on Nexflix one day. Now any time he see's anything connected with MIckey it is called "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Woadwayee."
    • We still do some treats for potty trainin purposes. When he needs to go poop in the potty, he yells, "I gotta poop in potty and get two treats!" The treats part is just part of the announcement now. He usually doesn't even remember to ask for said treat when all is said and done.
    • There is more, but I can't think of it right now.
  • Almost daily or multiple times a day, he asks to go to Finn's, Owen's, Evie's, Gram's, Papa's, or Grammy's house. Or to church. Either he's becoming a social butterfly or he likes everyone else's toys better than his own...lol
  • He found his baby dedication Bible today and kept asking me to read it to him, so I would. One time though, he said he was going to read to me. He sat down and said "blah swah blah-Jesus wuv me." You got it buddy!
  • He can count to 20 and say all of his alphabet(except l,m,n still all run together.) The counting to 20 thing came out of nowhere, but I guess thats what living on the 3rd floor does. Counting the stairs out loud for the past year+ worked apparently.
Ok, ok, I'll stop. I do realize that, A. I'm not a very eloquent blogger B. most of this stuff is way more cute to us than my readers. So, I'll give you a break. You have to admit though, he's pretty stinkin cute!

Sad thing is, I don't even have a cute pic to share. I've been slacking on the pictures lately. I'll try harder.
